Today is the beginning of my 30 Day Blog Challenge. I’m hoping that it gets me blogging a whole lot more here on out!
Day one of the challenge sounds like it would be way better with picture to go with it!
Introduce yourself:
My name is Heather.
This is my husband Gage.
We met at WSU and started dating on November 11, 2004.
He proposed on July 18, 2007 at Fenway Park.
We got married on June 13, 2009.
We went on our honeymoon to Maui.
We found out we were expecting on February 20, 2010.
We moved into our house June 2010.
We found out we were having a boy on June 29, 2010
Jacob Michael was born on November 2, 2010, 7lb 15oz, 21 1/4in
And there you have it. My entire world in a nutshell.
Recent picture:
Jake is pretty much the only thing we take pictures of these days. I really wish we were better at taking pictures of us with him though. Definitely something I’m going to be working on. But here is the most recent picture I’ve taken.
We bought Jake a jumper thinking he would have a blast in it because he’s quite the kicker and he loves standing in our laps. He absolutely loves the lights and sounds and has even started jumping a little. He’s definitely a little short still (notice the pillow he’s standing on).
15 Random Facts:
1. Gage and I are diehard Red Sox fans
2. I’m a nurse
3. I’ve lived all over the place because my dad was in the Army my entire life
4. I have an amazing niece named Makayla
5. I own a plethora of striped clothing
6. I drive an Xterra
7. Gage and I graduated from Washington State University
8. Gage and I bought our first house in January 2010. It was completed in June.
9. Jake measured large in all our ultrasounds and they thought he was going to be 9.5lbs when he was born.. He came out on his due date and was long and skinny weighing 7lb 15oz
10. Jake’s umbilical cord had a complete knot in it
11. We hired a photographer for Jacob’s birth and it was one of the best decisions ever. I absolutely cherish the photos. www.kerenfenton.com
12. Gage buys me a Lenox snowflake ornament every year for Christmas
13. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday
14. I broke my arm when I was 7 by standing on a baseball bat on the ground. I had to get a cast and the doctor at the military hospital asked me if I wanted it to be “black, black or black”
15. My grandma was an amazing woman and she is one of my biggest role models
