The beginning..

I started this blog because I enjoy writing. It's sorta an outlet for me that allows me to express my feelings as well as remember the things that have happened. My life is pretty mundane from day to day, so I probably won't update this on a daily basis..

The last 6 months have definitely been a whirlwind.. Time has definitely flown by and a lot has happened since the year began! So to recap:

We graduated from WSU in December:

Then the next month involved lots and lots of stress and studying so that I could pass my nursing license exam.. But I did, and began working as a nurse!

I started working in the Ambulatory Care Center at St. Joseph Medical Center and Gage started working at Enterprise Car Rental.

We bought a car at the end of February...


Then the next few months were filled with a little more stress from finishing planning our wedding..

On June 13th, we got married. It was the best day of our lives because we got to spend time with family and friends and now Gage is officially stuck with me!

So the morning after the wedding we hopped a plane to Maui for a week long honeymoon. It was a much needed vacation for both of us.. And Maui is just so amazingly beautiful!


After we got back from Maui, we had to return to our every day lives.. Which now consisted of discussions of houses and babies. It seems that after you get married, that's the first thing that everyone asks you. "When are you having kids?" "Are you pregnant yet?" So we decided that we should probably figure out our own plans so that we knew how to even address the questions!

Timelines are an ever growing topic of discussion for us. We know what we want for the future, but it's hard determining when the right time is going to be. But we've talked about what we want.. And decided on when.. But as of right now, it's a secret that we're not sharing with anyone.. ;-)

So that brings us to present day.. Right now life consists of working and trying to spend as much time together on our days off. Life is pretty great right now and I'm excited to see what it has in store for us!
