Today I was digging around in his mouth and found that his 4th tooth had finally poked through and that the 5th one is right behind it! Here is a chart of the ones he’s gotten so far.
Of course, along with getting teeth, we also get crankiness. My poor little guy has been clingy and whiny this week which makes me a sad mommy. I hate seeing my little guy upset or sad.
Jake still loves bath time. His face lights up when we walk into the bathroom and he gets so excited! He loves splashing the water and playing with his bath toys.
His current favorite toy is the Fisher Price stacking cups. These things are so cool because they can stack like a tower, you can connect them and make balls and you can play with the ball on the top.
We are currently transitioning into all 9 month clothes. Jakey has gone through a massive growth spurt lately and no longer fits his 6 month clothes. We’re also in size 4 diapers.
Jake still hasn’t started crawling or pulling up to standing yet. But he’s started spinning in circles while sitting on the floor and leaning further and further forward to reach toys.
Jake is still eating 6-7oz bottles every 3-4 hours during the day and sleeping 9-11 hour straight at nighttime. Solids are hit or miss most days. Some days he loves eating purees, table foods and puffs or other snacks. Some days he wants nothing to do with any of it. His current favorite food is Earth’s Best turkey vegetable dinner.
This little boy is such a mama's boy right now. It just melts my heart when he gives me his big toothy grin when he sees me and then wraps his arms around my neck and buries his head in my neck when I pick him up and then gives me juice open mouthed kisses (we need to work on this one). He's such a little sweetheart and I love him so much!
