9 months

I’m sort of in denial right now. It’s hard to believe my sweet little baby is already 9 months old! Time has flown by with him here!

We had our 9 month check up on Monday and my big boy weighed in at 21lb 13oz (75th percentile) and measured 29.5in (90th percentile). The pediatrician is predicting he will be 6’4”-6’5” when he’s older!

This has been quite the month developmentally! We now have 6 teeth, can go from laying down to sitting up, crawl, pull ourselves up to standing and we strictly take baths in the big boy tub.

We are currently eating 3 solids meals a day. Jake loves his purees, but also eats random table foods. He loves anything crunchy (puffs, cheerios, crackers, etc). We’ve mastered drinking out of a straw sippy cup and have transitioned to 4 bottles per day. We consistently sleep from 7:30pm to around 6-7am.

We are wearing size 4 diapers and wearing 9 month clothes. We have a full head of hair that seems to get lighter and lighter each day.

We absolutely hate getting our diaper changed or getting dressed after bath time. We would much rather roll over and crawl away as fast as possible.

Jake makes our lives so very happy and I can’t wait to see what this next month brings!
