Well on my way to the 2nd trimester and I’m still having nausea throughout the day. I’ve been taking a half of a tablet of zofran twice a day which seems to be helping.
We had been discussing stroller options with two young kids and decided that we were going to sell both of our current strollers to buy a Baby Jogger City Select. It is the most amazing stroller because it can just be used as to carry the infant car seat, or a single stroller, or a double stroller. There are 16 different configurations for the stroller. Gage and I went to look at it in the store last weekend and it’s so cool! So the first step to selling our strollers was listing them on Craigslist. Within a day I had received 4 offers on our BOB jogging stroller. 3 offers were for full price or near full price. One offer was for less than 1/3 of what we were asking for it. Some people are just plain ridiculous!
How far along: 11 weeks
Next appointment: October 5th. First appointment with the midwife followed by an ultrasound.
Any new aches/pains: The nausea is slowly getting better. Still feeling pretty good overall.
Maternity clothes: Still nothing yet. Just in that chubby in between stage. But still fitting my normal pants.
Sleep: No problems that are pregnancy related.
Best moment this week: Getting offers on our stroller (Gage is meeting with someone today to try and sell it)
Movement: none yet
Food cravings: Pizza has been a big craving lately!
Belly button: still where it should be
What I miss: Having the energy to chase my almost 11 month old around the house!
What I’m looking forward to this week: Hopefully selling our stroller and buying a new one!
Weekly wisdom: Don’t be a cheap ass and try and offer someone a ridiculously low price on something they are selling. It’s insulting and you won’t get some excellent deal because they say yes. They will just throw things at you and call you dumb.
