24 weeks

Another week has come and gone and I look even more pregnant. I seriously feel like I just wrote last week’s post! It just amazes me how much bigger I get each week and how much more movement I’m feeling. My little man loves moving and up until this past week, I’ve only felt kicks on the left side. This week I started feeling kicks on the right side as well.

This past Sunday we went to Babies R Us and registered for baby items. For some reason, I just didn’t enjoy the experience. I think part of me just wants to buy all the stuff we need rather than waiting to see if someone decides to buy it for us. I am a planner and just want to get the room put together and everything assembled and where it belongs.

Yesterday I decided to pull out all the baby clothes that I’ve purchased already. I’ll go ahead and admit that I was buying baby clothes before a baby even existed. It was just so hard because I would be looking at stuff for Makayla and would end up buying stuff for a future baby for us as well. So I have definitely found out that we do NOT need 3 month or 6 month clothes. We have TONS! We need more 9 month and beyond clothing!

Next appointment: July 29th

Any new aches/pains: still feeling good for the most part.. the only time I really feel pain is when Jake decides to snuggle against my bladder. Then I get lots of lower abdominal pressure..

Maternity clothes: loving my stretchy pants and roomy tops.. I’m starting to feel like I have a cute bump these days

Sleep: doing good.. thank goodness for my snoogle!

Best moment this week: Gage successfully hanging crown molding in the nursery!

Movement: all over the place now!

Food cravings: still cereal.. I just had a craving for iced tea on my way home earlier as well, so I had to give in to that one..

Belly button: still there.. for now..

What I miss: having energy

What I’m looking forward to this week: hopefully getting the crown molding painted so we can clean up the nursery and put the crib together!

Now it’s time to debut my massive 24 week belly! And it’s time for a bare belly photo as well..
