So we’ve started working on the nursery and I wanted to share some of the progress! We painted the walls a blue color that I tried to match to the crib bumper that I already bought. The color ended up brighter than I expected, but I’ve grown to love it.
This first picture shows the dresser that we’ll also be using as a changing table. You can see the crib bumper sitting on the dresser as well.
This picture is my inspiration photo for the dresser area. I bought these cute little white ledge shelves for above the dresser. The one on the left will have a Wally the Green Monster bobblehead. The middle one will have Jake’s ultrasound photo in a frame. And the one on the right will have these cute blocks that I bought that spell out ‘Jake’.
This final picture shows off the wall color and crown molding. I am so proud of Gage for doing the crown molding all on his own (with me helping to hold the pieces of course). Now we just need to get the crown molding painted so that we can assemble the crib and hang things on the walls!
The next update will hopefully include an assembled crib with some awesome wall art hanging above it ;-)
