37 weeks

I am officially full term and definitely wouldn’t mind if this little guy made his appearance at any moment! I am so ready to meet him and to be done being pregnant. I really need to remind myself that each day that I make it through is one day closer to meeting our little guy. Some days are a true struggle because of back pain and discomfort, so it’s getting to be challenging reminding myself of what the end result is.

At this week’s appointment I was informed that the earliest I would be able to be induced is November 11th. I’m definitely hoping we don’t have to go that route and that he comes on his own and whatever date he chooses. (hopefully sooner rather than later)

How far along: 37 weeks

Next appointment: every Monday until the end..

Any new aches/pains: lots of belly discomfort.. woke up this morning feeling like my abdomen was being ripped apart

Maternity clothes: not fitting very well these days.. and my work clothes are busting at the seams

Sleep: getting up more and more due to discomfort.. I keep waking up on my back and I feel miserable when I do

Best moment this week: reaching full term.. it’s almost like it gives me permission to have this baby!

Movement: all the time.. his movements seem to be getting harder and harder

Food cravings: yesterday I had a major Pepsi craving

Belly button: getting smaller and smaller.. wondering if it’s going to pop

What I miss: comfort

What I’m looking forward to this week: being one week closer to the end result

Weekly wisdom: the end really shouldn’t feel that long if you take the time to realize how long you’ve already been pregnant.. but it seriously DRAGS on..
