Yesterday we had a follow-up growth scan. He was adorable and was opening and closing his mouth and playing with his umbilical cord that was partially in front of his face. So the reason for the ultrasound was because he measured large at 22 and 30 weeks so they wanted to see if it was a fluke or if he really was large. Well, we got our answer.
30 weeks
- 4lb 1oz
- 95th percentile
- Head : 33 weeks
- Abdomen : 31 weeks
- Legs : 32 weeks
36 weeks
- 7lb 0oz
- 86th percentile
- Head : 39 weeks
- Abdomen : 37 weeks
- Legs : 38 weeks
He’s expected to gain 1/2 a pound each week until he’s born. Which means we are expecting to have a 9lb + baby!
Eeek! A good healthy baby! My little man was 6 lbs at 36 weeks, and now at 40 weeks he feels like he's 30 lbs :) But we're lucky to have healthy babies, no matter the size.
