12 weeks

So this post is a little late because we were in Hawaii all of last week. Definitely looking forward to nearing the end of the 1st trimester, but after missing my Vitamin B6 and Unisom that I typically take at bedtime because I forgot to grab it out of my checked baggage to take during our red eye flight home, I realized that I still have moments where I feel queasy. I’ve been feeling crummy ever since we got back home. So here goes my 12 week update.

How far along: 12 weeks

Next appointment: May 3rd.. just a usual checkup.. looking forward to hearing the baby though!

Any new aches/pains: I still have random bouts of nausea here and there and definitely have some fatigue, but overall, I feel great..

Maternity clothes: still wearing my old clothes.. just not fitting in them very well..

Sleep: I do pretty well as long as I’m in my own bed. If I’m sleeping anywhere else, I get up 4 or 5 times a night because I’m restless.

Best moment this week: getting to watch my dad retire from the Army!

Movement: still none yet

Food cravings: food in general ;-)

Belly button: still there

What I miss: not having to worry that everything I’m doing could affect the baby

What I’m looking forward to this week: ending my 1st trimester!

Weekly wisdom: don’t forget to get your vitamins out of your bag before you check it and get on a plane.. you will regret it!

 

So it’s time for a bare belly photo since it’s been 4 weeks. Taking pictures at the very end of the day is never a good idea. Especially the end of a long flying day. So not only do I look uber bloated, but I look exhausted.
